Abstract

|
Double vision may arise from ocular, neurologic, or extraocular muscle disorders. Evaluation of diplopia requires a systematic approach to the history and physical examination. Many challenges may be encountered when evaluating double vision since ocular misalignment is sometimes subtle, requiring more meticulous assessement. In this article, we provide a practical guide to the history taking and physical examination of the patients with double vision.
